The residents of the Town of Sidney have a proud history of recognizing the importance of education in a changing world, and being aware of the increased need for the support of education.

The Town of Sidney has established this Scholarship Fund to promote the value of higher education and to provide an opportunity for Sidney students to continue their tradition of quality education in becoming lifelong learners.

This scholarship will be awarded annually to:
• A graduating senior from the Town of Sidney.
• Must have been accepted for admission to a post-secondary institution.
• The recipient of this scholarship should have financial need and a demonstrated work ethic.

Scholarship Amount: The amount of the scholarship is unspecified and varies from year to year.

The Sidney Town Office will send the scholarship directly to the college or university of the awarded recipient. If you are awarded this scholarship, you are responsible for having your academic organization send confirmation of your full-time status for the spring semester in order for the Town of Sidney to forward the award. We must receive verification by April 1st or the award could be revoked. This information should be sent to:
