Native American Waiver and Scholarship Program

Students who are on the tribal census of a federally recognized North American tribe or who have a parent or grandparent on the tribal census. Some residency requirements may apply.
Scholarship Amount: Varies -- waivers covering tuition and fees at University of Maine System universities, and scholarships subsidizing room and board charges at University of Maine System campuses which provide housing.

Native American Scholarship Program applications may be obtained from: Wabanaki Center, Dunn Hall, University of Maine, Orono, Maine 04469, or: Financial Aid Office of the University of Maine System where student has applied, or online at www.naps.umaine.edu

Applications are due January 1st for Fall; September 1st for Spring.
