MaineGeneral Health Scholarship Program

MaineGeneral Health and individual sponsors offer a number of scholarships to support the education of health care professionals. Scholarships are given to individuals pursuing degrees in health care disciplines practiced at MaineGeneral Health.

Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:
• Residence within MaineGeneral's service area. (See link below under Application Process.)
• Acceptance at an accredited school or licensed program
• Pursuit of a degree in health care disciplines practiced at MaineGeneral Health
• Scholastic achievement (must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, or 85 for high school students)
• Financial need
• Civic contribution
Scholarship Amount: $500–$2,500
Application Process:

Candidates must reside within MaineGeneral’s service area.

Scholarships are based on financial need, academic achievement, and community service.
