Chief Risk Officer

FAME is looking for a strategic and innovative Chief Risk Officer to join the executive leadership team. The CRO oversees Finance, Legal, and Risk Management departments, handling control testing, internal audit, and regulatory examinations. Responsibilities include executing business unit tests, reporting financial performance, credit risk, and legal matters to the board. The CRO will assess and manage risk and regulatory compliance across FAME’s enterprise operations. In collaboration with the rest of the senior leadership team, leads an Enterprise Risk Management approach across financial, credit, market, and operational risks. The role utilizes advanced risk management knowledge to support FAME’s mission and strategic plan.

The successful candidate will meet the following minimum education, experience and work requirements:

  1. Minimum four-year college degree.  Prefer Master of Business Administration, CPA, or JD, or other advance degree/license in finance, investments, accounting, legal or risk management (or an appropriate combination of education and work experience).
  2. Minimum of ten (10) years related work experience in areas of accounting, financial modeling, lending, investment, risk management and legal experience.
  3. Demonstrated history of effectively managing and overseeing multi-function teams.
  4. Proven track record of staff, team and organizational development.
  5. Proven understanding/appreciation of accounting principles, financial markets, legal, compliance and risk matters, developing financial plans, and developing policies and procedures.
  6. Demonstrated leadership, as well as project management and strategic thinking skills are required.

Chief Operations Officer

FAME is seeking a strategic and innovative Chief Operations Officer (COO) to join the executive leadership team. Responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, providing leadership for Business, Education, Customer Service, and Operations teams, and driving innovation with the CEO and Senior Leadership. The COO will manage FAME’s programs to support business finance and higher education, oversee policies and procedures, and ensure effective program delivery. In alignment with FAME’s values, the COO is ultimately responsible for customer experience and in collaboration with senior leadership, ensures FAME delivers an exceptional customer/constituent experience. Additionally, they will review services, develop new programs as needed, and report program issues and achievements to the CEO and board of directors.

Chief Communications Officer

FAME is seeking a collaborative and innovative professional to join the executive leadership team as the Chief Communications Officer. The primary responsibilities of this role include ensuring that all communication efforts are aligned to support the mission and strategic objectives of FAME. This position encompasses strategic communications planning, risk and reputation management, brand management, program promotion, customer engagement strategy management, and internal communications aimed to standardize and increase employee engagement in support of FAME’s strategic initiatives.

The role requires collaborative planning across various departments to ensure unified messaging with all external stakeholders, including FAME’s partners, vendors, customers, and the public. Additionally, this position oversees FAME-wide communications and marketing initiatives while leading a diverse team of professionals in marketing, communications, governmental affairs, and organizational transformation. This strategic approach ensures alignment of communication strategies with organizational goals, fostering brand awareness across all lines of business within FAME.
